OVERVIEW

The Box Lacrosse Tribunal is a disciplinary oversight body formed by leading independent box lacrosse events worldwide in 2026. Built on mutual trust and shared standards, the BLDC ensures safety, integrity, and accountability across independent box lacrosse tournaments globally.

Participating tournaments and invitationals within the coalition recognize reciprocal disciplinary decisions, ensuring that severe infractions carry meaningful consequences beyond a single event.

CORE PURPOSE & SCOPE

Event Autonomy: Individual member events maintain total authority over their on-floor operations, game rules, and immediate event-level discipline during tournament play.
Reciprocal Sanctions: For severe or extraordinary infractions, the Box Lacrosse Tribunal conducts independent post-event reviews. Disciplinary actions handed down by the Commission — including extended time-based suspensions — are fully honored across all Member Events.
Standards & Integrity: Participating tournaments commit to high operational standards, including game film coverage, official record-keeping, and officiating to support fair, objective reviews.
